At Sunnyside, the Blue Devils came out a little sluggish but got the ball rolling late in the second half by scoring the final 21 points of the game. Running back Kevin Harrigan's 65-yard run awakened Sunnyside as it dominated the Mountain Lions.

• Highlight reel: Mountain View's Mark Vera ripped off a 95-yard kick return, racing down the sideline for the Lions' first score.

• Player of the game: Harri-gan rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns, including a 30-yard scamper on his first carry.

• By the numbers: 14. Sunnyside's defense had 14 tackles for loss, including six quarterback sacks while holding Mountain View to 35 yards rushing.

• He said it: "We just choked them to death (in the second half)," Harrigan said. "All we got to do is pick it up. And at home, we got to win."
