Javon Stevenson rushed for 147 yards on 27 carries in the Blue Devils' impressive road victory to open their season.

Sunnyside quarterback Sammy Olivas threw three touchdowns passes, connecting with Alex Leon twice, and passed for 104 yards.

Highlight reel: In the first quarter, Sunnyside made a goal-line stand after a long Mountain Ridge kickoff return. After four stops, a pass interference penalty gave the Mountain Lions a first down. Sunnyside denied another three attempts and forced them to kick a field goal.
