Sunnyside's Stevenson earns football award with 313 rushing yards

Jovan Stevenson's legs got a workout last Friday. The Sunnyside High School running back probably didn't mind.

Stevenson is the Tucson Citizen's high school football player of the week after racking up 313 yards on 19 carries - an average of 16.5 yards a run - in a 55-18 defeat of visiting Sierra Vista Buena.

Stevenson scored on runs of 35, 54 and 35 yards.
